Laurence Dickens – Principal Consultant & Training Lead

Laurence’s extensive experience in security on the frontline, in management, and as a trainer spans more than 30 years. Known for being a highly motivated and enthusiastic communicator and, consequently due to having a parallel career in sales, Laurence is an experienced and sought after UK national trainer in Conflict Management and Physical Intervention techniques.  He is also a BILD accredited trainer which is much more focused on the care and NHS industry. Laurence is a specialist at building and motivating teams as well as individual personnel through his unique management and training style.

Knowing and adhering to the right techniques are at the core of Laurence’s success as a trainer. He has trained Conflict Management and Physical Intervention techniques to personnel from organisations including His Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) prison officers, National Health Service hospitals (NHS) health professionals, schools staff and public/private care home staff.

As a British and European Tae-Kwon-Do title holder (4th Dan), Laurence has travelled extensively in pursuit of the sport and self-defence discipline to countries which include Europe (various), Australia and also to China where he trained in the Shaolin Temple. As a licensed Close Protection officer, Laurence has operated as A Close Protection Officer (Body Guard) for many High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) and celebrities.
